After School Programs (K-5th)

We are dedicated to building skills that are promoted through intentional teaching and the use of developmentally age-appropriate methods and practice. 

All learning takes place in a safe, fun and high quality program that fits the needs of both you and your child.

After School Programs begin on August 16th for students.

 
 

university starts now(Monday - Thursdays) 

Our after-school tutoring and homework help program for students from Kindergarten – 5th grade. Students enjoy a healthy snack, receive homework assistance, and learn an enrichment lesson based on one of our four foundational pillars:

  • Academics & Arts:
    While enrichment programs are continuously being cut from the public school system, at Kidworks our students benefit from art enrichment, literacy, music, STEM workshops, and more.

  • Health & Fitness:
    We want our students to benefit from strong minds and healthy bodies. Activities including physical fitness, nutrition education, gardening, cooking classes are offered to students to improve their overall quality of life.

  • College & Career Readiness:
    KidWorks students are college bound! Students begin preparing for both college and career through tutoring, career days, and mentorship.

  • Leadership & Spiritual Development:
    We believe that every student we serve is born with God-given potential. We focus on character formation so that they can develop into productive members of society. We partner with service groups, churches, and businesses to develop spiritual and leadership skills.


KidWorks University Workshops (Friday - saturdays) 

At KidWorks, we believe it is important to expose students to a wide range of activities that allow them to discover their own passions and talents. Each Friday and Saturday, students can participate in fun, energetic, hands-on workshops led by our dynamic and talented volunteers.  Workshops can focus on art, science, music, dance, creative writing, etc.

On Saturdays, we host our Love in Music program which gives instruction to elementary age students on orchestra instruments. We also have our Avanti music program which provides instrument and vocal instruction as well as performance opportunities to youth.
