Diana Ramirez, Accounting Associate
“It’s so exciting to come to KidWorks each day and be part of a team that’s doing amazing work to serve the community.  I see how deeply everyone cares about KidWorks and our mission.  My role is to provide support to the Accounting & Finance Department. Before joining KidWorks, I was a staff accountant for three years at RHW Capital Management Group.  When not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.  I also enjoy traveling, drawing—and getting lost in a good book.”

Erika Sanchez, College & Career Coordinator
With my deep understanding of the long-term mission and vision that fuels KidWorks,  my goal is to  contribute valuable wisdom as the organization serves students on their ‘Pre-K to BA’ journey.  In my role as College & Career Coordinator, I will take the lead on the implementation and development of our newly established College Success Initiative™.   I will implement a wide range of programs and services.  This includes early college access/college readiness for kindergarten through fifthgrade students, college and career-based enrichment, and scholarships.  I will also oversee the creation and launch of the Alumni Network and College Mentorship Program.  In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, visiting new cities and trying new foods.”

Carolyne Villaescusa, Intern
“As an intern in the KidWorks’ Youth & Family Engagement Department, I’m excited to learn from such a knowledgeable, experienced and kind staff.  I also volunteer as a tutor for grades six through 12 during after school programs. It’s wonderful to see the positive impact KidWorks has on the youth.  Everyone works so diligently to make sure we offer the best program possible. Before I joined KidWorks, I was an administrative assistant at the University of California, Irvine’s Education Office of Student Affairs.  In my free time, I enjoy dancing, reading poetry, going out to eat with friends and community service.  I attend UCI, with a focus on social policy, public service and education sciences.”

Carolyne was recently featured in a UCI publication that highlighted her work as an intern at KidWorks.
