KidWorks extends a very grateful “thank you!” to everyone who made our seventh annual “KidWorks Classic Golf Tournament” the best ever held at the exclusive Pelican Hill Golf Course in Newport Coast. And that’s saying a lot since the Classic is considered one of the premier golf events in Orange County. Best of all, the $230,000 raised all goes to support to our KidWorks College Success Initiative. And it’s working, 100% of our High School seniors will graduate on time and have enrolled in college or university.
A very special “thank you!” to Michael Harrah, President & Chief Executive Officer of Caribou Industries, the official “Title Sponsor,” which is the highest level of support for the event.
“KidWorks and I have a shared vision for transforming the heart of Orange County,” Mike says. “Events such as the Classic raise funds for KidWorks programs, which in turn helps develop tomorrow’s leaders who will serve their community with time, talent and resources. Preparing the leaders and workforce of tomorrow starts now.”
We also deeply thank Sharon Kline, Executive Vice President of Debt & Structured Finance at CBRE and Dan Walker, National Commercial Title and Escrow Sales, at Ticor Title Company, who both served as Co-Chairpersons of the KidWorks Classic Golf Tournament
“The year-over-year support of our sponsors, supporters and players has been key to the success of our tournament,” Sharon says. “The tournament really has it all—a premier golf venue, the opportunity for business professionals to network and most importantly, providing crucial financial support for KidWorks’ proven programs.”
We also thank all those who purchased player positions, donated auction items and participated in the auction itself. Our hundreds of students at each KidWorks center are already benefitting from what your generosity makes possible.
